Mark Bittman: How About a Little Danish?
So Denmark just started taxing unhealthy foods and the new government wants to double that tax. I have no problems with this because it will lead to us eating better food and the government getting more money to spend on things like healthcare and so on.

Denmark had elections the other day and out of that we got a new government.
The old right wing coalition was made up of the Liberal party, Danish National Party, Christian Democrats and the Conservative party. The new left wing coalition is made up of the Social Democrats, Social Liberals, Socialist People’s Party and the Red-Green alliance.
I’m happy with the results.
Because of all of this we got some new ministers, and here is a photo of them as they go to meet the Queen before taking office. The Folketinget (parliament) own the bikes it seems. Here is a better photo of the bikes.
I find this to be pretty cool.
